Delta Tennis provides equipment to local Community Tennis Associations

To continue their mission to "share the sport" by helping make tennis an affordable and inclusive sport, Delta Tennis recently provided tennis equipment donations to two Texas Community Tennis Associations, Spring Branch Tennis Association and Lake Travis Tennis Association.

The Spring Branch Tennis Association (SBTA), located just south of San Antonio, provides opportunities for quality, affordable tennis for all levels in their community.  They do this by promoting an environment for developing "morally sound, physically fit, self-reliant individuals" and providing their community with a safe place to benefit from healthy activities and social interactions. The group operates a six-court facility at Jumbo Evans Sports Park in Comal County off Highway 281.

The Lake Travis Tennis Association (LTTA), located west of Austin, is dedicated to promoting the social and health benefits of racquet sports to youth and adults in the Lakeway, Bee Cave and Spicewood areas utilizing public and private tennis facilities. Their mission is to promote and develop the lifetime sport of tennis as a means of healthful recreation, physical fitness, social skills development and character.

Both organizations operate as Community Tennis Associations under the umbrella of USTA Texas.

The newly acquired equipment will help both groups fulfill their missions by providing low-cost tennis programs and services in their local communities.
